FAQ

How to read each screen, and what the figures mean. Nothing here promises a result.

How do I read the board?

  • One row per game. Each side is a market that pays $1 a contract if that side happens, and nothing if it does not.
  • YES 62% is what one contract of that side costs right now, as the exchange prints it: 62 cents on the dollar. NO is the other side of the same market, priced at 100 less the bid.
  • Spread is the gap between what buyers pay and sellers take. Vol is contracts traded. The hairline is the last 90 minutes of price.
  • Moved is when the price last changed, not when the board last looked; the line under the heading says when it synced. A game two days out can sit an hour without a move.
  • Tap a side and the ticket opens filled in. Nothing is sent until you place the order and the worker carries it out.
  • Each sport is rolled up. Tap its bar to drill in, or pick one sport from the list. LIVE shows only what is in play; TODAY the day's slate; ALL DAYS the week.

How do I read a ticket?

  • A ticket is one position. In at is your entry. The sell order and the stop print from your rules the moment it fills.
  • The worker keeps the sell order resting at the exchange and watches the stop. You can move either, or exit now at the bid.
  • A buy order that does not fill is cancelled after the timeout in your rules. Stop everything cancels every order and pauses.
  • Prices read as the exchange prints them, 62% for 62 cents on the dollar. The exchange's book has only a YES side, so a NO ticket also prints how its orders appear there: NO in at 16 is a YES ask at 84.

What are the figures at the top of the board and the tickets?

  • Cash at the exchange is what the exchange says you have to spend, as the worker last read it, usually within the minute.
  • Positions worth now is the exchange's own mark of everything you hold: open tickets and positions taken on the exchange itself alike.
  • Net on open is that mark less what those positions cost. It follows the exchange's mark, read about once a minute, and is not money until you sell.
  • Net closed is every ticket the journal has closed, net of the fees this app saw: tickets placed here, positions managed from here (their entry fees were paid before the app knew them), and any log you imported. Trades closed at the exchange that this app never saw are not counted.
  • Net overall is net on open plus net closed. The two count different things, one the exchange's mark of what is held and one the journal's closed tickets, so it is a reading of where the account stands on what this app can see, not a statement of account.
  • In tickets is what your open tickets have committed, against the bankroll in your rules.
  • A figure the worker has not read yet prints as a bracketed placeholder, never a zero.
  • The chevron folds the figures away to make room for the board; the bar keeps cash and net overall in view, and stays folded on that device until tapped again. Open the exchange goes straight to the exchange's portfolio page for the environment you are in.

How do I read the journal?

  • Every closed trade, with fees and the net result. Filter by setup or sport, export the CSV for your own sheet.
  • Setups shows each tag's hit rate against its break-even rate. A rate is shown only from 30 trades; before that it says so.

What do the settings do?

  • Risk rules are enforced by the worker before any order reaches the exchange. The dashboard only shows them.
  • Demo is the default and moves no real money. Live needs a typed confirmation here and production keys on the worker.
  • Alerts reach this device with the app closed once the worker is running and the toggle is on. Each kind has its own switch.
  • The board's opening view is a preference: which sport, today first or the whole week, and whether finished games show.

How do I get set up?

  • The Start screen lists what is connected and what to do next. Steps mark themselves done as the pieces come online.
  • The worker runs on a host of your own with your own exchange key; the Start screen walks through connecting it, one step at a time.

THE FINE PRINT

  • Spots are potential opportunities, not predictions. Nothing here is a guarantee.
  • Every trade can lose its full cost. Past patterns don't decide the next game.
